Sorry, I pressed "post" by mistake. Here's the full question.
Hello.
I'm editing an animation of a humanoid swinging an axe. I have attached the axe to the right hand and I have enabled its transforms in the config panel (btw it took me a while to figure that out).
Now, I'd like to edit the position of the axe relative to the hand, so that it aligns to the animation and save that to the scene. I have managed to do this by editing the axe position in config mode and pressing "clear - keep scene pose". But I'd like to achieve the same from the pose editor. Is there a way to save the axe position from the pose editor to the reference pose (i.e. without keying it)?
"Clear - keep scene pose" also works from within the pose mode. What it does in this case is that it keeps the current pose of your animation in the scene. You can also save the reference pose to the scene once (like you already did by clicking on "Clear - keep scene pose" from config mode) and then whenever you do something in pose mode, click on the regular "clear" button then UMotion is reverting the changes back to the scene pose you applied last time (i.e. the reference pose). Hope this makes sense.
Best regards,
Peter
