When adjusting IK or clicking clear in Pose Editor, Unity 6.3 crashes.

UMotion Version:
1.29p04
Unity Version:
6000.3.1f1

Crashes usually mean a problem in native code. UMotion uses no native code so it might have just triggerd a bug that's within Unity's native code. Anyways, as this problem is fixed I remark it as solved. Please come back in case you have this issue again.

Hi Lucia,
thank's for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you are discovering a crash.

1) When you say crash, you meant that Unity closes suddenly?

2) Does this problem happen with a specific model or with any model? Does for example "Robot Kyle" from the example scene work for you?

3) Does this problem also happen in an empty Unity project that just contains UMotion and your character?

4) When importing UMotion, have you confirmed the dialog where the API Updater asked you to update deprecated APIs (you should confirm this)?

Generally speaking, UMotion should work perfectly fine in Unity 6.3.

Best regards,
Peter

1. Crash, meaning the Unity crash panel and Bug Report appeared.

2. My animal model has a Generic type.

When

3. I didn't test it in an empty project, because I have a project where it was important for me to do this animation specifically in a cutscene with Timeline.

4. When the API panel appears, I usually confirm the update, because I can't stand the old API.

But the strangest thing is, when I started double-checking, the crashes stopped, although they always occurred when trying to animate, and even switching to Unity 6.2 in the project didn't work for some reason.

So, sorry if I couldn't provide enough information, but now the crashes have stopped. Before your questions, they always occurred in Unity 6.3, but suddenly they disappeared. There were no issues with other assets, but this only happened with your asset, and I thought the problem was on your end.
