Running Unity 5.6.2. The crash happens on both Mac and Windows. Tried on 3 different machines.

Hi,
thank you very much for this bug report.

I just tried installing UMotion in Unity 5.6.3p4 (I had that one installed on my PC) but everything was working as expected.

With "crash" do you mean that Unity closes without any message? Or do you get any error message? If you get an error message in the Console Window, please send me the complete error message + stack trace by copy & pasting it.

Strange. I tried it on 3 machines and it did the same thing on each. On a Mac, I get a system level NSGenericException crash (ie. I don't even get the Unity crash dialogue... just the macOS one):

On Windows I get a dialogue box that says there was an unhandled exception and you can either ignore or reload. This message pops up ad infinitum if you just click ignore.

Trying to reload UMotion on both Mac and Windows results in it being perpetually stuck at 70%. Trying to open (by clicking the Open button) an example project simply does nothing.

Tried also on the now 1.05p01 and the same things still happen.

Hi Quintin,
I have just downloaded Unity 5.6.2f1 and created an empty project. Then I imported UMotion V1.05p01. On my PC (Windows 10) everything is working as expected.

Maybe something went wrong when you imported UMotion. Could you try importing UMotion in an empty project as I did?

Also please note that with the current UMotion version it's necessary that the "Editor Default Resources" folder is in the root of your project's "Assets" folder (this will not be necessary anymore in the upcoming V1.06). Have you moved that folder (or any of its children) to a different location? That might explain what's happening.

When you get the "unhandled exception" window, could you click on "Issue A Bug Report"? This will automatically collect the full error message. Please fill out the form that is opened in your web browser (just mention it's related to this question) and send it to me. This should give me all the information necessary to diagnose what's happening here.

I have the same issue on Unity 5.6.4p1 on Mac

I installed umotion. When i switch scenes it says:
UMotion - Ups!
UMotion just detected an unhandled exception.
A detailed error message is printed to Unity's Console window.
Please issue a bug report to ensure that this won't happen again.

With option to ignore, restart umption (which crashes unity) or issue a bug report. Ignoring twice will allow the new scene to open. And then it prints this error to the console:

Invalid MonoObject passed

I have AQUAS asset installed and this was throwing an unhandled exception too.

Deleting the AQUAS asset solved the problem, bit this is not ideal since I use AQUAS. Ill post in their forum too.

Hi Protopo,
please update to the latest UMotion version you can get from the asset store and try if the exception still appears.

I'm already aware of the problem with Aquas and I think the latest UMotion version should address this issue.
