Umotion crashes constantly so I decided to strip everything and make a simple umotion project. From the moment I make a new additive layer I get logs constantly until umotion actually crashes.

Using unity 2017.3 patch 4

In order to allow me to recreate what's happening, could you provide some additional information by issuing a bug report via the email support form, please? It would be very useful if you could include that simple project you've been talking about (as *.zip) and a step by step guide how I can recreate the situation you discovered.
