Hi,

I have a project using a humanoid model and imported humanoid animation from an fbx file.

Everything works well in the editor and I can export the clip in ,anim format. However when I try to export to .fbx format I get the following error:

The model has a bone called hip so I'm not sure what's going on.

Thanks in advance

Richard

Hi Richard,
thank you very much for your support request.

May I ask you to send me a *.unitypackage that includes everything I need to reproduce this issue on my PC (i.e. the character, without textures if you want, and the UMotion project)? Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,

Thank you responding to my issue.

I have found that the issue is caused by having two game objects with the same name in the hierarchy (see attached image). The top level object is an empty game object with the animator attached to it. The second level object with the same name is the mesh with the rig one level below it. Renaming the top level game object resolved the issue.

I can still send you a *.unitypackage if you wish to investigate further?

Thanks again for responding and for a great product.

Kind regards
Richard

Hi Richard,
I'm glad to hear that you've found the cause of this issue. Yes, if you could send me a *.unitypackage it would make it much easier for me to further investigate and implement a patch in future UMotion updates.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Peter
