I am still using Unity 2017.4 and I possibly have the prior version of UMotion installed and in use in a previous project that is not complete yet, so I don't want to mess it up with an update. I created a new project but now at the point of using UMotion for this project I find UMotion is not automatically part of this new project. In the asset store I see that I may need to remove a file/s. But as UMotion is not part of this project yet, will this affect my other project then? Should I go and remove items from other projects folder first? Or am I ok to just install/update asset with no alterations to the other project files as this one has nothing to do with the other?

Hi Dave,
thank you very much for your support request.

UMotion is installed per project. You can install different versions of UMotion in different projects. The following video explains where UMotion is installed in your project: (1) Installation & First Steps - UMotion Official Tutorials

For your new project, I recommend clicking on the "Update" button on the Asset Store. Once the update finished, click on "Import" to import the latest version of UMotion into your new project.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Best regards,
Peter
