Hi, I'm using umotion pro's custom IK function trying to create ik solvers for my generic crab.

The setup is like this:

and it looks like this in scene:

The IK can work but I can't use the FK/IK blend slider to control it nor pin the ik to world space.

These limitations made ik less useful.

Am I setting something wrong or it's  a limitation of current version?

Hi Harekelas,
thank you very much for your support request.

There are two reasons why the FK/IK Blend channel might be greyed out:

  1. You are controlling the FK/IK Blend channel via a "Custom Property" that is in "Remote Control" mode. You need to modify the "Custom Property" in that case.
  2. You are currently in an additive layer. FK/IK Blend can only be manipulated in the base layer or in an override layer.

Regarding the IK Pinning, it looks like IK Pinning is not setup (otherwise there would be a Child-Of constraint next to the IK constraint). Here is the video about how to setup IK Pinning manually (when not using the IK Setup Wizard): UMotion Pro - IK Pinning

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
