asked in General Help by Rookie (170 points)

Hello, I bought this asset in the professional version recently, and I've watched all the tutorials, but I have not yet found something I needed, which is knowing how I can control my legs and arms. Without being in my hands, I mean the elbow and the knees, if necessary, to fix a position. For example ... I put my feet in a position that I want, but I want to correct the height that the character is, but I do not want to have to redo the position of the feet, I wanted to know where I found this option, and also wanted to know  how that muscle of the leg activates, because in the Lower Body options it remains disabled

Thanks for the help, and sorry about the bad english

Hi Shadownildo,
thank you very much for your support request.

What you are looking for is called "IK Pinning". When you pin an IK target (for example the left foot) it won't move even if you move the hips for example. When you used the "IK Setup Wizard" to setup IK for your character, IK pinning has also been setup automatically. To enable IK pinning, select the IK target (e.g. the left foot) and tick the IK Pinning checkbox in the Pose Editor's "Channels" section.

Before using IK Pinning, please watch the following two video tutorials:
UMotion Pro - Child-Of Constraint (<-- IK Pinning uses the Child-Of constraint)
UMotion Pro - IK Pinning

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Best regards,
Peter

Because the leg is controlled by IK, you can't apply FK modifications via that slider to it. So when using IK that slider is always disabled. The pose of the leg is now calculated in such a way that it reaches the IK target (the cube). So in order to adjust the leg pose, move the IK target (the cube) and the IK pole target (the sphere) using the move tool.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Best regards,
Peter
