when i export animations from umotion, the animator controller's animations get cleared of animations.

I never had this issue before when exporting. I'm using the latest umotion and unity 2019.1 b4, Generic Animation Type, I even tried downgrading to 2018.3 with no luck. Every now and then the animator controller will reapply the animations.

Cheers mate!

Hi,
thank you very much for reporting this issue.

I'm able to reproduce this, though I'm not yet sure if it's something I can fix on my (UMotion) side. Seems like Unity looses the reference to the animation when it reloads the *.FBX. I'm going to investigate further and keep you updated.

Update: Fixed in UMotion V1.16p03.

When exporting directly to *.anim, the Animator doesn't loose the reference.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
Peter

The error doesnt seem to happen to new umotion projects, I also tried deleting a handful of animations in the clip editor in the project with issues and the references were working.. I dont see anything wrong with the animations i deleted, a couple animations only have a start key and end key frame... Maybe at least 3 keys per animation is required?

I have a older version of umotion exported fbx so i put it in my unity project folder to see if the controller references correctly and it worked perfectly. It only happens to new exported fbx.

Thanks for all your investigation into this issue. I've been able to detect the problem and it's something I can fix on my end. This fix will make it into the upcoming UMotion V1.16p03 patch release. The patch will be available by the end of this week.

Thanks for reporting this problem. If you discover any other problem in the future, don't hesitate to contact me again.

Best regards,
Peter
