unity sends me to checkout when i try to update, i think it wants me to buy the software again

Hi,
thank you very much for reaching out.

Updates are usually free for all products you can purchase on the Asset Store (also for UMotion Pro). Are you sure you are using the same Unity account that you've also used to purchase UMotion Pro? If so, please contact Unity Support with your invoice ID and describe the problem to them. It's probably a fault in their system.
