I am integrating with FinalIK, I want the IK effectors to be at 0 on frame five and then at 1 on frame ten. While I can specify 0 and 1 using the animation event, I also want to interpolate the IK effectors inbetween frames so that it's not all of a sudden.

What is the proper way to do this with UMotion?

The proper way for doing so would be by using the "Custom Property Constraint" in "Component Property" mode instead of animation events. This allows you to animate the property of any component of your GameObject (in your case the effector weight of your FinalIK component).

Please refer to the manual ("Pose Editor/Constraint System/Custom Property") for further information.

PS: Also make sure to checkout "Pose Editor/Options/Extending UMotion" in the manual to learn more about how to correctly integrate FinalIK into UMotion (so that previewing is working correctly).
